Because I was a little slack with postings this term, I thought I would be able to write all the posts over a few days and then arrange them into date order - turns out I can't do that, so please excuse Term 4's postings if the dates seem to jump all over the place!
I was very impressed to see 3 of my girls get prizes at their school prizegiving - the results were in the paper today!

Christmas crafts Thursday 25 November 2010
The Rangers wanted to have a night where they could make Christmas crafts. We made miniwreaths, cards and baubles. Here is the instructions on how to make them.
I will add a photo shortly of what they look like!
The baubles are quite easy - cut out circles or scallop circles, glued together with a ribbon through the middle
I took down my cuttlebug, dies, embossing folders and other scrapbooking tools and let the girls have fun with them. I was very impressed what they created. I will add a photo shortly of one of their cards.
We made Christmas puddins with mallowpuffs, melted white chocolate, spearmint leaves and jaffas (mmmm yum!!)

Timaru Christmas Parade 4 December 2010
My Rangers were in charge of decorating the float for Timaru District GirlGuiding.
They had nominated themselves to do it at the beginning of the year but then completely forgot - until I reminded them. Anyway, they went with pink/blue/white streamers and balloons. There was also a Christmas tree and presents! The Pippins, Rangers and leaders blew bubbles.
I have posted before and after shots of the truck!
All the balloons in my car waiting to be put on the float.
Our sign.

Photo Walk
On the last night of term three some of the girls went round the local area taking photos of numbers on letter boxes, corners of signs, edges of gardens and other interesting objects.
So, this term all of the Rangers went for a walk to see if they could identify where the photos were taken. There were some interesting results. The girls found most of the photos very quickly! However there were a few that completely stumped them!
PS I will post photos later.
